Japanese American physicist, the Henry Semat Professor of Theoretical Physics in the City College of New York of City University of New York, the co-founder of string field theory, and a “communicator” and “popularizer” of science are the titles that Michio Kaku holds. Having written a series of books and blog articles that can be found online and appeared on many interviews on air, televisions and films he is well credited for his theories and work research. The latest to be heard from him is his theory and suggestions to Japans Nuclear Plant crisis which is given more acknowledgment by the Japanese government after the Tsunami disaster that occurred. Suggesting they should bury the plant just as Chernobyl before situations gets worse. What is found more interesting is his futurist predictions on how life would be in the coming future of possibilities which can be read more in-depth in his book released titled “Physics Of The Future.” Having stated we are Type 0 beings to soon to develop to Type 1 within one hundred years if we are to conquer over terrorism which is holding us back from the evolution of our future and to have belief that there is other “twin” beings, or some might consider as “aliens”, that are advanced by a unkown amount of years of technology that live “god like” lives controlling substances with their minds. With our quick evolving use of the internet we are experiencing a transition into a Type 1 evolution and within a hundred years it is predicted we will have the control to expand into space according to Kaku. A very interesting topic to think over and analyze on opinions on where our grandchildren will end up being you can read his novel and other publishes to get a more in-depth look. You think we will be able to be part of some sort of Star Wars in our coming future ? Check out the interviews below by Michio Kaku.
Something really dope I came across from the living that goes on in Japan is this touch screen vending machine. In today’s world touch screen is taking over everything and defines the future. Well now industrial designer Fumie Shibata took it to the next level with the vending machines with motion cameras. Read the clip via Hypebeast on the machine and click more for more pics.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, something else comes along that’s completely awesome. Sort of like these new, high-tech digital touchscreen vending machines that have been installed throughout Tokyo’s metro system. The machines, which were designed by Japanese industrial designer Fumie Shibata, features a 47-inch touchscreen display with a digital camera mounted at the top. As individuals approach the device, an internal processor interprets sensory data to determine their age and sex and recommends products based on this data. When not in use by a customer, the vending machine engages its “intelligent marketing” system which displays advertisements appropriate to the time of day, temperature and season.
Thats correct you read the title right a 3-D Holographic musician, Hatsune Miku ! A craze now happening over at Japan with this new upbringing of a virtual sexy anime musician. We all can give thanks to James Cameron for bringing the reality of the next generation of 3-D. “Hatsune Miku is a rising star in Japan and abroad, singing catchy J-pop that matches her blue-green hair. She’s also a virtual avatar created by Crypton Media using Yamaha’s Vocaloid voice synthesizer. That hasn’t stopped her from amassing a legion of fans who really love her work. I mean really love it. Check out the crowd frantically waving glow-sticks and singing along…”
